  1. I like having the photo blog as well, this is my secnod attempt at what is called project 365. I was doing pretty well when I started the first time but then had a sick family member that took all of my focus.I am glad that I decided to participate in the group. It is a great group of people.

  2. I agree too.Although my wee dog's terrier iittnncss are meant to be leading her into killing rabbits and foxes and things, I celebrate the fact that thus far she's shown no inclination to do anything other than play with other wee creatures. She likes to chase birds and rabbits, but when the bird flies off and lands again close by Piglet trots past with a big smile and blows a little kiss. If the day comes when she kills something then I'll accept it as the natural consequence of her border terrier genes, but I won't be happy about it (unlike the idiots (IMO) on the border terrier website I used to frequent, who used to make delighted postings when their wee doggies disembowelled their first wee creatures).I don't let her off the lead around sheep, because she can't help wanting to chase them and we know how damaging that sort of chasing can be, even if no teeth are involved. I'd keep her on a lead around nesting birds too. The poo tree, though, seems to me to be a slightly different issue. If it arises out of sheer laziness on the owners' parts then I abhor it. If, however, it happens because the local authority don't provide any bins then it seems to me to be inevitable. ISTM that there's a limit to how much you can expect dog owners to do, and carrying a sweaty bag of poo for 5 miles++ in a place set aside for walkers (as opposed to somewhere like the Lakes or Scotland) because there's nowhere to dump it safely seems to me to be beyond what can reasonably be expected.
